An update on us!

I'm sure you all can imagine that computer time has been very limited these days! Both my babies are sleeping right now, and of course I had to threaten to call the Easter Bunny in order to get Adam to take a nap! So once that was mentioned, his head was on the pillow and shortly after he was sound asleep. (However I think I hear him rustling around on the monitor now....hopefully it's just to get resituated!)

Hannah is doing awesome. She is breastfeeding like a champ, and sleeping approx. 5 hours at night for the first stretch and between 2 and 3 for the next. I definitely can't complain about that! The little stump on her umbilical cord fell off this morning, so she will get her first true bath tonight! She will be looking and smelling beautiful for her first outing to church on Easter Sunday! I will post a picture of Adam & Hannah all dressed up sometime tomorrow (when I have a few spare minutes!)

Nathan has a cold right now, and aside from being a tad grouchy with that, he is doing good. He's talking about going fishing tomorrow, so he is not totally under the weather!

I'm doing good as well. I'm learning how to juggle time and priorites. I'm still not practicing "sleeping when the baby sleeps", but somedays she and I have pj day and we both stay in our pajamas until well after lunch. Those days are GREAT!!

Hannah is 2 weeks old today, and I know before I realize it, I'll be heading back to work and she will be getting accustomed to daycare. That will be here in the blink of an eye. Adam talks about Hannah all the time at daycare, and he's so cute - he tells the other kids in his room to "be quiet - baby Hannah is sleeping!" He's even told his teachers that the movie or tv is "too loud", that it'll wake the baby!! He is quite the character!! I didn't realize just how big my baby boy is until Hannah came along. He looks so much more grown up now. However he still loves to be loved on, and he is still and always will be my baby boy.

I have been doubly blessed w/ two precious children...........thank you Jesus for these miracles..

Amy I was so glad to see an update, I didn't practice the sleep when baby sleeps either even though it is good advice, it is often hard to do that because there is so much other stuff to be done! Can't wait to see pictures. Hope you enjoy your First Easter with two little ones!
